“Building an end-to-end strategic content marketing agency that clients can rely on as a thought partner for fresh, creative ideas and best-in-class content and campaigns.”
It’s a mouthful, and it’s where I find myself, with a feeling of anticipation.
When I walked through the door of a creative shop on my first day more than 20 years ago, I knew I was onto something. As I followed the thread of agency life, I found my way inside both big and boutique shops, working alongside some of the most talented people I’ve encountered and on behalf of global brands in nearly every industry. The hustle was real, and after 15 years of thinking big with companies such as HP, GE Aviation, State Farm, and P&G, I welcomed the pause that followed.
When I created Lofti, my own little stamp on the world, one of my favorite outcomes was working with a more diverse set of people and businesses. Growing a consultancy from the ground up had its fair share of challenges. However, I found balance through my work with The Carter Center in Tunisia; built confidence as a workshop facilitator with Global Assembly; took my music to the next level by recording an album of sound bath music; and enabled better communication by sharing well-being programming with companies such as Google, Lululemon, and Boston Consulting Group.

So what am I doing here?
Entrepreneurship is a lonely craft at times, and I am an extroverted creator who thrives within a team. When I met Scott Leff late last year through a colleague, I found a kindred spirit. Like me, he’s a musician with a flair for pushing boundaries, thinking big, and surrounding himself with incredibly talented, creative people. And just like that, the next step in my career journey began.
Teaching professional development workshops placed me in front of thousands of leaders at all levels. The common thread was no career journey is alike. Though our skills and experiences may have similarities, it is our unique approach to life that makes one path different from another. I am thrilled that the one-of-a-kind career I’ve had matches with this agency’s whole ethos. I am finding my footing with my new colleagues, a group of professionals with varied backgrounds and pursuits outside of work. Their passion is infectious.

What do I see? White space. This powerhouse of writers, editors, producers, and creative people is full of subject matter experts with backgrounds at McKinsey, EY, Harley-Davison, and the World Bank, among others. They have spent time in the Peace Corps, they have worked with NATO and the Chicago Olympic bid—and they are some of the kindest individuals I have ever worked with. Together, with this team, there is so much possible for our clients.

In my role as VP of content marketing, I am proudly trailblazing our path to growth. For those of you who haven’t heard of us, get ready. What I see after my first 60 days here is a level of talent and subject matter expertise that rivals some of the big shops. Together, we are evolving our deep editorial and thought leadership perspective in new places: live virtual experiences, video that supports initiatives such as best-in-class recruitment stories, Olympic-level sports sponsorships, smarter C-level content, and integrated brand evolution for some seriously big brands.
